The Trials and Tribulations of a Trailer Trash Housewife

Del Shores’ 6th play THE TRIALS AND TRIBULATIONS OF A TRAILER TRASH HOUSEWIFE won countless LA theatre awards. Beth Grant (Sissy in Sordid Lives) starred and won every Best Actress Award available. The rest of the cast picked up their share of statues too — David Steen (G.W. in series Sordid Lives), Octavia Spencer, Debby Holiday, Dale Dickey (Glyndora in series Sordid Lives). The music was composed by Joe Patrick Ward (scored the Sordid series), lyrics by Ward, Sharyn Lane (who produced the show) and Shores. The play won the Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Award — Best World Premiere, Best Production and Best Actress.
